General SAQ Guidelines
- SAQ A – applies when customer enters his/her own data on a hosted website.
- SAQ B – applies to swipe merchants only.
- SAQ C – applies when staff member enters card number into hosted application.
- SAQ C-VT – applies to merchants using virtual terminals for staff to enter card numbers.
- SAQ D – all other scenarios or if merchant stores card numbers electronically.
- Contact the Cashier’s Office if you would like assistance with selecting the correct SAQ for your Unit.
