Financial and Cost Analysis

What do we do?

Our Mission is to provide accurate and effective financial reporting and analysis in a timely manner.

Encompassed in the above mission statement, the Office of Financial and Cost Analysis is primarily responsible for:

  • The preparation and publication of the University’s audited financial statements and related financial reports.
  • Filing the University’s Unrelated Business Income Tax Return and related departmental assistance.
  • Oversee the University’s operating cash pool, debt agreements, State appropriations and Plant project accounting.
  • Reconciling the University’s bank accounts and preparing the related daily cash flow reports, and
  • Preparing numerous periodic and special reports for external and internal users.

These responsibilities indirectly support the University’s Guiding Principles by providing externally mandated financial reports and internal management reports that fulfill several of the University’s reporting requirements.
