Background

We migrated content from a previous version of the Controller and Travel websites to websites with a new look and feel! Site URL locations have not changed. You can continue to access content for the Office of the Controller at https://ctlr.msu.edu and for MSU travel at https://travel.msu.edu (or https://travelatstate.com). Browser bookmarks to pages will continue to work. Bookmarks to PDF documents or worksheets will direct you to the page where you can access those documents. If they don’t, please send us a note at Controller.Systems@groups.msu.edu. The new websites incorporate MSU standard branding, responsiveness (mobile, tablet, laptop, desktop), and accessibility standards.

New look

The Office of the Controller and Travel websites have a new look and feel! You can visit the various areas of the Controllers office or Travel by navigating links in the main navigation bar across the top. "Quick links" are now in the top right corner called the Brand bar (Students and Parents, Faculty and Staff, Fiscal Officers). Browser bookmarked links or embedded links in pages to the Office of the Controller or the MSU Travel website will continue to work.

What Changed?

Where did the Quick links go?

Quick links left hand side of the old website are now located across the top navigation bar and the brand bar in the top right of the new website. See below.

How do I access the various Controller’s Units?

The various units of the Office of the Controller are accessible via links across the top in the main navigation bar. The MSU Travel website is accessible via a link called Travel in the main navigation bar or by visiting https://travel.msu.edu or https://travelatstate.com

Has navigation in the new Travel website changed?

Navigation for the new travel website has remained largely unchanged. You can access all the areas of the new Travel website similar to the previous version

What about bookmarks I saved or links I embedded in my website?

Bookmarks to current website links will be automatically redirected to the new website to the appropriate location. Bookmarks to PDF documents or worksheets will direct you to the page where you can access those documents. If there is a link you are looking for and cannot find it, please send us a note at Controller.Systems@groups.msu.edu and we will get back with you.
